so after my run, i went to sit out on the lake, and the waves were crashing all up under me, and i could see the chicago skyline right as the sun was setting, and it was beautiful as all hell. but the thing is, the best thing about life is sharing beautiful things with people you care about, and i just had this overwhelming feeling that everyone i care deeply about (and honestly, there aren’t many of these people) is extremely far away, and that is why i’m feeling blue tonight.
